Contact Me

My husband Jim and I ( and our cat, Chica) live in tiny  (Pop. 77) Round Top, Texas, just about halfway between Austin and Houston. However, we are worlds away from those two fast-paced cities, and enjoy our little bit of heaven in the quiet Texas countryside. We recently moved into our new "barndominium." The beautiful  custom studio in one wing includes my lampworking bench with torch and kiln, Jim's centrifugal caster and buffer, a desk for each of us, a jewelry bench for each of us, and a central workstation for photography and shipping!

I make  glass beads most days from about 9 AM to 2  PM. Each bead goes into the kiln after it is made, and is annealed overnight. Since I don't see the finished beads until early the next day, every morning after bead making is like Christmas!   I create finished jewelry in the afternoons, combining my beads with other accent beads and findings. Jim, a metalsmith, contributes pendants and beads that I also use. Follow this link to see how lampworked glass beads are made, and follow this "barndominium" link to learn about our metal building.

Visitors are welcome to our studio. Just call ahead for an appointment to make sure  we're home, as we might be out of town selling at an art show (see Show Schedule).
